Being an art collector I would collect artworks that are appealing to me.
Artist Russell Young artistic piece “Elvis TCB Gun – Triple, 2011” would be
appealing to me. I encounter this artwork in Tagliatella galleries. The reason
why this artwork is appealing to me is for its different looks from the usual
artwork I have seen. I would invest into this artwork because its crystal
appearance. I would display this artwork because of the shine it brings into
the room so I wouldn’t keep this in storage.
In addition, how the artists create this artwork with diamond dust was
have unique to me. I feel that this artwork has more meaning to it. I think it
can be use as a warning and decoration. The “Easy Rider” painting cannot compare to the “Elvis TCB Gun – Triple, 2011” because that piece is too simple and not
different. Also the Mick Jagger "Reggie Kray, Do You Know
my Name" painting are similar to the other and doesn’t shine in the
room like other artworks.

Also being an art collector there are certain artworks
that wouldn’t be appealing to me. I wouldn't display Senzo Pieao ll created by
Aaron Nagel. I dislike the coverage of the female breast. I believe it would be
more appealing to expose this woman to make this artwork on a more realistic
low. I wouldn’t invest in this artwork because I dislike the tease it gives the
audience. I would keep this in my storage room until I am persuaded it is
profitable. I encounter this artwork in Lyons Wier Gallery.
The other works of arts were pleasing to look at
but this one mess up the gallery. In addition this artwork lack meaning to it
and how it was develop wasn’t unique. I'm not sure what the title has to do with
the paintings either. Compare to “The Pale” Aaron Nagel reveals more in his
artwork than “Senzo Pieao ll.” Plus “Lie Down With Lions” also reveals more and has a better
title that can relate to the painting.
